TATTED BALLERINA SERIES

Tatted Ballerina Legs

Gothic Tatted Ballerina

Inked elegance, her skin is a beautiful canvas. The Tatted Ballerinas shows that body modifications can be a beautiful expression of self without losing the essence of femininity.

This series’ theme is centered around the idea that strong women, even with tough exteriors, are still beautiful. In the dance community, tattoos are almost taboo, they are accepted if they can be hidden but should not be visible. In these pieces the tattoos are very visible and can not be hidden. The idea behind these are to challenge societies view on beauty and accept that all art, whether it be dance, paintings or tattoos, are an expression of self and therefore can still be beautiful.
